They are looking for a Merchandise Specialist to join their growing team. You will be a vital link in streamlining stock management and strengthening supplier relationships to ensure our retail and e-commerce operations run seamlessly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to an Philippine-based manager as part of the Merchandise & Operations team, you will support the core goal of inventory accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Administer end-to-end merchandise data, including SKU creation, barcoding, pricing, and Purchase Order (PO) management. 
  • Coordinate timely stock replenishments and inter-store transfers while nurturing positive relationships with global suppliers. 
  • Maintain high levels of stock accuracy through regular stocktakes, variance reporting, and data adjustments. 
  • Analyze sales performance by preparing sales reports, WIP (Work in Progress) listings, and forecasting spreadsheets in Excel. 
  • Optimize digital presence by managing listings on third-party marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. 
  • Facilitate clear communication across teams regarding stock movements and store requests.
 
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience specifically in merchandising and inventory planning within a retail or e-commerce business.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Shopify and various Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Excel Mastery: Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Logical Thinking: Proven logical thinking and strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt quickly and remain flexible with evolving workflows and tasks.
  • Independence: A proactive problem-solver who thrives in an autonomous, remote environment.
  • Precision: High attention to detail and accuracy when managing complex data in a fast-paced setting.
 
Bonus Points For
  • Experience in the sustainable fashion or boutique home goods industry. 
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory forecasting models and tools. 
  • Familiarity with cross-border logistics between Australia and international suppliers.
